3 If the foundations8356 be destroyed2040, what can the righteous6662 do6466?

4 The LORD3068 is in his holy6944 temple1964, the LORD'S3068 throne3678 is in heaven8064: his eyes5869 behold2372, his eyelids6079 try974, the children1121 of men120.

5 The LORD3068 trieth974 the righteous6662: but the wicked7563 and him that loveth157 violence2555 his soul5315 hateth8130.

6 Upon the wicked7563 he shall rain4305 snares6341, fire784 and brimstone1614, and an horrible2152 tempest7307: this shall be the portion4521 of their cup3563. an horrible: or, a burning tempest

7 For the righteous6662 LORD3068 loveth157 righteousness6666; his countenance6440 doth behold2372 the upright3477.
