1 Yahweh , be my judge and declare me innocent!
1 Clear my name, for I walk in integrity
1 and trust you without wavering.
2 Yahweh , you can scrutinize me.
2 Refine my heart and probe my every thought.
2 Put me to the test and you’ll find me true.
3 I will never lose sight of your steadfast love for me.
3 Your faithfulness has steadied my steps.
4 I won’t keep company with tricky, two-faced men,
4 nor will I go the way of those with hidden motives.
5 I despise the sinner’s hangouts.
5 You won’t find me walking with the wicked.
6 When I come to your altar, Yahweh ,
6 I’ll be clean before you,
6 approaching with songs of thanksgiving,
6 singing songs of your mighty miracles.
8 Yahweh , I love to live in your house, this dwelling place of dazzling glory!
9 Don’t treat me as one of these scheming sinners
9 who plot violence against the innocent.
10 Look how they devise their wicked plans;
10 their hands are always ready to receive a bribe.
11 I’m not like them, Lord—not at all .
11 Save me, redeem me with your mercy,
11 for I have chosen to walk only in what is right.
12 Among the worshipers I will praise Yahweh ,
12 for I am safe and secure because of you!
