1 wearing them as his splendor-garments.
1 Regal power surrounds him as he sits securely on his throne.
1 He’s in charge of it all, the entire world,
1 and he knows what he’s doing!
2 Lord, you have reigned as King from the very beginning of time.
2 Eternity is your home.
3 Chaos once challenged you.
3 The raging waves lifted themselves over and over,
3 high above the ocean’s depths, letting out their mighty roar!
3 Yet at the sound of your voice they were all stilled by your might.
3 What a majestic King, filled with power!
5 Nothing could ever change your royal decrees;
5 they will last forever!
5 Holiness is the beauty that fills your house;
5 you are the one who abides forevermore!
